WHAT WE BELIEVE

We Believe the Bible to be the only authoritative scriptures of God, as being  inspired, infallible, and inerrant in their original writings.

We Believe that there is one eternal God, externally existent in three Persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substutionary and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection from the dead, in His glorious ascension to the right hand of the Father in Heaven, and in His personal return to earth in glory.

We Believe in the present and personal ministry of the Holy Spirit, who is working to bring sinners to believe in The Lord Jesus as  Savior and is even now indwelling the Christian and enabling him to live a godly life upon this earth.

We Believe that man is a lost sinner who needs to be saved. Man's only  hope of salvation is to be deemed through the blood of Jesus which was shed on  the cross as payment for man's sin.

We Believe in the Resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved. The saved will be  resurrected unto eternal life and the unsaved will be resurrected to eternal damnation. 
 
We Believe in the Universal Church which is made up of all true  spiritual believers.

We Believe that the Bible sets forth the local Church as being that place where every believer is joined to one another in spiritual unity and purpose by serving the Lord.

GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION

John 3:16 (NKJV) "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life." 

1. Realize YOU are a sinner.
The first thing you need to do is agree with God, by admitting that you are a sinner  separated from Him by your sin.

Romans 3:23 "For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." 

2. Recognize that Jesus Christ is your Savior.
The Bible tells us that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, down to this earth to provide mankind with the only way to God.  

John 14:6 "Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Acts 4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” 

3. Repent of your sins.
To repent means to turn away or change one's direction. To come to God, you must be willing to turn from your sinful ways and to do those things that please God.

Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore and be converted,  that your sins may be blotted out, ...".
 
4. Receive forgiveness for sins from the Lord Jesus.
Salvation is a gift that God offers to all men, your part is to reach out by faith and receive it. God promises to receive into His family, all those who turn to Him.

Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe  in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." 

Romans 10:13 "Whoever calls upon the Name of The Lord shall be saved."  

John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to  become children of God, to those who believe in His name."

"Heavenly Father, I know that I have sinned. Please forgive me of my sins.  I do believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the debt for my sins and to make a way for me to have the gift of everlasting life. I accept the forgiveness of God on the basis of what Christ has done for me.  Right now, I do receive The Lord Jesus as my personal Savior and put my complete trust in Him alone. Thank you Father for giving me the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen."
